It’s no secret that property investing has made me a very wealthy man, with so many choices and options that have made life for my family and I incredibly privileged. Of course, it would be easy to just sit back and enjoy life but one of the things I find the most rewarding is the amazing opportunity to give back.
I’m really proud to show you some of these photos of work being done in Cambodia to help improve the lives of children in desperate need. Our partnership with Project Futures, an organisation dedicated to helping the people of Cambodia, is making a difference to so many women and children living in circumstances we couldn’t begin to imagine here in Australia.
The latest project is in partnership with the Cambodian Children’s Trust to improve and expand the homes of local Cambodian families who provide foster care to children currently unable to live with their parents or extended family. These home improvements will have a profound impact on the lives of these foster families and the 25 children currently in need of short or long term family-based foster care.
The home currently under renovation in these photos is ideal for children with a fresh water pump, lots of trees and room to run around and play. Importantly for the family, there is a huge vegetable garden and they will be able to keep chickens and ducks to supplement their meals and income.
In what is surely a win-win, the construction crew are a hard working local family of a father and four sons and this project is also providing much needed employment for a local family to benefit.
I really am so grateful for the opportunities that property investing has brought not only to my life, my family and employees, but to those in real need. It’s a great feeling to be able to make a difference.
Changing lives every day…
